My wedding season is officially over and although my next wedding isn’t until February, I already am missing it. Leland + Lyn are both from the Rochester area, but chose a wedding venue that is one of my absolute favorites in the Central NY area…. WOLF OAK ACRES!!!
The first time I met Eric + Kelsey was a little over a year ago. We met to talk about their wedding day and so I could learn a little more about the two of them. As soon as we were done talking we explored around Geneva, NY for their engagement session.
I’m so lucky to find such wonderful couples and thankful that my friends and family bring me to some amazing people. My friend Lindsay (also a future bride of mine), met Alex and Nick at SUNY Geneseo. These two are truly the definition of an old married couple and appreciate the simple things in life.
The crazy thing about the world of weddings is never knowing what could happen. The weather is unpredictable, knowing if things will go as planned or if you just have to go with the flow throughout the day. Every wedding is different from one another and the love between my couples and their guests makes each wedding a special experience for me.
The next few days are going to be full of weddings and photo sessions and I completely blame the peak of fall foliage nearing. I have THREE weddings AND six sessions jammed packed into the next ten days so I will be fulled on caffeine and power naps. Today is also my parent’s 32nd anniversary so I thought it was fitting to blog about one incredible wedding in honor of my two biggest role models.
It’s been over a year since my last wedding at Tailwater Lodge, but the wait was completely worth it. Steve + Sarah both grow up in Oswego, NY so I instantly connected with them. For those who don’t know I lived in Oswego for over 6 years so it’s my second home and will always be one of my favorite places to visit.
Life has been pretty crazy lately for me, and with October…. aka. fall foliage approaching, it’s about to get even more hectic. For John + Lindsey’s wedding I got to experience quite the drive to get to a new view AND town, that I’ve never been to before.
I still remember the day Sarah pointed out Sean from across the room. We were both working behind the counter at the Webster Ice Rink’s snack bar and Sean was helping out with skate rentals. It’s crazy thinking this happened over 10 years ago and now you are husband and wife!
