La Luna - Rochester Wedding | Corey + Kristina

When everything started to shut down and non-essential businesses weren’t allowed to operate, Corey and Kristina were supposed to have their wedding day. Although I was unable to photograph their intimate ceremony, the two of them eloped and still got married on their original day. They decided to postpone their wedding reception a few months later, hoping everything would be a little bit better with the world by then. A few months flew by and although many restrictions were still happening, it was a beautiful day. We dodged a couple of rain storms and celebrated with their 50 closest friends and family members.

The ladies were all getting ready at their Rochester home before heading to La Luna for the first look. Something I love about what they choose to do was both of them saved their formal wedding attire for their postponed date. This meant Corey never saw Kristina in her wedding dress and YES, they are already married, BUT Corey was so excited to see his wife. We set up the first look by High Falls with all their closest friends and family close by. It was so beautiful to watch as they both were so excited for the rest of their celebration and to renew their vows in front of everyone. La Luna is in the heart of Downtown Rochester so the urban vibes surround their venue making it such a great spot to photograph. After all the family and bridal party photos, we prepared for their ceremony with one of my favorite officiants!!! I had such an amazing time and saw a bunch of familiar faces from our college days at SUNY Oswego. Thanks again for having me be a part of your special celebration!!! LET’S GO LAKERS!!!!
