New York Kitchen - Finger Lakes Wedding | Casey + Michelle

One amazing thing about living in the Rochester area is being so close to the Finger Lakes!!! The weekend before this wedding I was photographing a wedding at Sonnenberg Gardens and was amazed by the beauty. We didn't get to explore down by Canandaigua Lake, but I knew the following weekend I'd be over that way. I started my day meeting with the wedding party and their families at The Inn on the Lake where they were getting ready and doing their first look. I was really happy because the makeup artist was my good friend Christina Matiash and it was our first wedding together!!! Love working with people I strongly believe in!

After everyone was done getting ready we set up their first look in a private spot to the side of the hotel. There was another wedding ceremony so it was a little crazy, but there was so much love and happiness in the air. The nice thing about them stay at the Inn on the Lake was their venue was just a couple minute walk from there. I've never been to the New York Kitchen before, but it was really cool! The staff completely transformed the ceremony room into the most perfect reception space during their cocktail hour. There were so many memorable moments. From the best man singing the most heartfelt "speech" to the many tears shred through out the day, it was perfect!!! It was so easy to tell you guys have been together for so many years and how your loved ones were just as excited as you both. Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your day. Congrats Casey + Michelle!!!!
