Yesterday I officially finished editing my last wedding of 2018 and now I’m completely caught up on all my editing!!!! It’s been FOREVER since I’ve had no editing on my to do list and it feels AMAZING!!! Minus a handful of sessions in December, I have a lot more time on my hand to relax and plan for next year. I’m excited to be posting my “Best of 2018 | Weddings” very soon and of course I’ll be doing one for my engagement sessions and high school seniors.
Can we just talk about how we barely saw Fall this year?!! I feel like we jumped from 90 degrees to snow with just a blink of an eye. I can’t say I’m a fan of snow, but picture wise…. it’s pretty amazing. A lot of my couples know I love an overcast for the even lighting and same goes for snow!!!!
It’s not all the time I get an email from someone asking me to photograph a proposal! This was only my second time being involved in someone proposing, so I was excited and eager on my drive from Rochester to Watkins Glen. Zach saw an engagement session I did last year online and I was lucky enough for him to select me to do this thoughtful idea.
November has been full of engagement sessions and tons of editing, but I’m getting near the end of everything and I’m loving these slower paced days. I met Pat + Meaghan at the Lamberton Conservatory… a great indoor location in Highland Park!!! It was my first time shooting inside so I was loving the new inspiration and the fall foliage mixed with the snow was so magical.
It’s hard to believe I’m officially done blogging about all of my 2018 weddings and I’m really eager to blog about THE BEST OF 2018 | WEDDINGS in December!!! This year was my largest wedding season ever with 31 weddings and today I’m fully booked for 2019 with 25 weddings.
