Village of Fairport - Rochester Engagement Session | Dan + Teresa

Meeting my couples for the first time is always an exciting moment for me!!! Photographers who say they are never nervous are secretly hiding something because I’m not afraid to say that I can be at times. One of my most important stages to photographing a wedding day is the initial meeting of my brides and grooms… aka. the engagement session. The reason I now include them in all of my packages is because I want you to feel comfortable being photographed by me and I want to be comfortable knowing you and your relationship. Every single couple is different and every love story is a unique relationship so engagement sessions are so important to me and should be to any couple. It allows you to have professional photos of you guys in NORMAL clothing and your true selves. It gets all those nerves out for both sides and make everyone more excited for the wedding day to officially come.

Dan + Teresa luckily found me through a few of my past couples and I’m so thankful for that. They are the sweetest people and the love they have for one another made some serious magic. We met in the Village of Fairport where they just bought a house and love to explore. The weather was slightly… okay very windy, but the sun came out so I was a happy girl. After walking around the Erie Canal, we went back to their home to hang out with their pup, Boe! Dogs at engagement sessions are always encouraged because I know how much love I have for my Mochi and Leo. The fact they both are two of the most photogenic people ever made my job really easy and I can’t wait to see them again next fall for their wedding day. Congratulations Dan + Teresa!!!!
